Frequently Asked Questions

1.How much hair will I need?

When considering human hair extensions it really depends on the look you are going for. For the average full head weave you will need at least 200 – 3009 (2-3 bundles) of hair. Longer and fuller styles typically require more hair. We recommend 400g(4 bundles) for a full head of weave, and 500g (5 bundles) if you want it extra full. People working with hair 22 inches or longer should consider purchasing anywhere from 400g to 500(4-5Bundles) as the width of these tend to be shorter due to their length. Many of our customers purchase different lengths for natural layering.

2. How do you care for Virgin hair?

Because this is 100% virgin human hair extensions, you would care for this hair just as you would your very own. Wash and condition it regularly. You can blow dry, but we recommend drying the hair by either sitting under a hair dryer or when possible let your hair air dry. Please refer to our hair care labels for more detailed information.

3. Should I trim or cut my Virgin human hair extensions?

Remember this is natural hair, so it needs the same attention and care that you would give your own natural hair. We recommend using different lengths for a natural layered look which would also dismiss the need to cut the hair. However, it would definitely be your choice depending on your style, but we ALWAYS recommend that every Virgin Hair Enterprises customer makes this hair their own, by framing your face and finding a style that fits YOU.

4. What is the difference between the various types of Virgin hair?

There are subtle differences between the types of hair. The differences are more apparent in the hair’s reaction to water, heat or air drying. They all have natural movement and will never tangle or shed unlike non-virgin or chemically processed hair. Most of them are available in wavy, straight or curly textures. The colors are not even through out the weft. You will get a few patches where strands maybe lighter or darker than the rest of the weft. This is normal and typical of hair from a sunny country where hair lightens with exposure to the sun.
