Introductory Post; Why go "Virgin"?

Many of you are wondering.... Why go "Virgin"? What does that even mean?

Well, in order for you to understand what we mean by "Virgin Hair", we must unravel why this phrase has been coined in that manner.

Contrary to direct translation or assumption, "Virgin Hair" is not hair from virgins. The phrase actually has no link whatsoever to the sexual preservation of a woman/man. It however, draws direct reference  to the pure nature of the hair, indicating that it has not undergone any chemical treatment like bleaching ,relaxing or curling. The donors donate their hair and thereafter the weave is named per its donor's origin. For instance Brazilian hair, would be from a Brazilian donor and Peruvian Hair would be from a donor from Peru.

Virgin and unsullied hair extensions& systems tend to be the most expensive and luxurious hair, because the hair has been harvested off donors, therefore, its 100% Organic and Natural

This makes the hair extremely light, durable and versatile. It is light, because one bundle of hair would only weigh 100g. Therefore, a full head of hair would weigh up to 200-500g, depending on how many bundles you use. Its durable because the hair fibres are lighter and more flexible, therefore there is minimal to no shedding or tangling. As for its versatility, its organic-nature ensures that the hair fibres are thinner therefore any chemical treatment it goes through is retained for a longer period of time.

Which brings us back to the question. "Why go Virgin?"

Well, because Virgin Hair is more natural-looking, more versatile and way much more durable than any other hair extensions in the market. Because there is minimal to zero tangling, it also makes the hair very low-maintenance. Seeing that the hair is no longer growing from its root, the only way to keep it moist and fresh, is by occasionally deep-conditioning it so as to regain moisture and lustre.

In a nutshell, it is a better investment, a better purchase and a BETTER LOOK!
